RariPie Bomb; Day 2: Seaponies or Pirate outfits from the movie
SO. This was meant to be a quick, simple drawing. And I knew that wasn’t happening the second I decided to just pretty up the background a bit. It’s a little fun when I go overboard though!!! I think this turned out great!!
I’ve been meaning to dive into (see what I did there? :D) the seapony designs for a while so this was a great excuse. Drawing Pinke was so fun, I love her tail!!!!If you like my art, please consider donating! It really brightens my day!
“We’re not… Really going to look like that some day, are we?”
“I certainly hope not!! I’d have to kiss my spying days goodbye with that kind of gaudy carapace!”
Happy late Halloween, everyone! Thanks for your patience, as always, while I got this finished.
Brace yourselves for tomorrow as I’m going to be making a lot of announcements about a lot of things!
Also, as an aside, I’m having a Christmas sale on commissions! Check it out here!
If you like this comic, please reblog it!
I thought it was time I do something similar to my first motivational comic a few summers ago that really wound up kind of putting FQC on the radar of a lot of people. The last comic came from me seeing a lot of people I knew in pain, and this comes from seeing something like that happening again.
I have two philosophies that I hold to, which are: everything passes with time, and to just keep walking. I feel like they help me be able to keep moving even if I feel immobilized by fear or by whatever the situation I’m in because sometimes you’re forced to wait by circumstances out of your control. You can’t do anything but just grit your teeth and wait for it finally pass by. But just because you have to wait doesn’t mean you have to stop moving, and I try to remember that when I feel like I’m seriously stuck and just move my efforts to something I can help instead of focusing all my energy on something I can’t at the moment. It’s tough, and sometimes it doesn’t work, but you’ve got to try your darnedest to keep moving forward despite it. You’ve got to keep moving towards that sunlight, even if you think it might not be there.
I hope this will be able to help you, and I hope you know I love you, no matter where you are or what you’re doing.
We love you.
FQC Is Now 4 Years Old!
On this day, four years ago, I posted the first update!
A lot has changed, mostly the art style, but I’m still so glad I decided to make this blog. It’s helped me grow my art into something that I didn’t think it could ever become, and rekindled my desire to create comics.
Thank you to all the followers (all 6k+ of you!!! WOW!!), commissioners, patrons, and wonderful friends who encouraged me while I was sick to try to keep going and have stuck with this blog through thick and thin.
I may not say it that often, or communicate that much with the people who follow this blog, but I promise that I see you and truly appreciate the support this place gets.
See you guys Friday with the special update! :D
“Wow, you sure are popular!”
“I wouldn’t call it popularity so much as people returning a year’s worth of favors.”
“Ah.”
Happy Hearts and Hooves Day, everypony! And a Happy Valentines’ Day to the rest of you! ;D
Please consider supporting this comic on Patreon! We’re $6 away from reaching our first goal!!
This was supposed to be an illustration for Halloween, but I thought it would work on it’s own. I hope you are all having a good day!
Please take this as a sign that some things are coming from this blog once again in the near future.
“When the queen asks you where her steward is, you tell her… And you definitely don’t say the word ‘ass’ in her presence either.”
(Here’s the song she’s singing.
