I thought it was time I do something similar to my first motivational comic a few summers ago that really wound up kind of putting FQC on the radar of a lot of people. The last comic came from me seeing a lot of people I knew in pain, and this comes from seeing something like that happening again.
I have two philosophies that I hold to, which are: everything passes with time, and to just keep walking. I feel like they help me be able to keep moving even if I feel immobilized by fear or by whatever the situation I’m in because sometimes you’re forced to wait by circumstances out of your control. You can’t do anything but just grit your teeth and wait for it finally pass by. But just because you have to wait doesn’t mean you have to stop moving, and I try to remember that when I feel like I’m seriously stuck and just move my efforts to something I can help instead of focusing all my energy on something I can’t at the moment. It’s tough, and sometimes it doesn’t work, but you’ve got to try your darnedest to keep moving forward despite it. You’ve got to keep moving towards that sunlight, even if you think it might not be there.
I hope this will be able to help you, and I hope you know I love you, no matter where you are or what you’re doing.
We love you.

FQC Is Now 4 Years Old!
On this day, four years ago, I posted the first update!
A lot has changed, mostly the art style, but I’m still so glad I decided to make this blog. It’s helped me grow my art into something that I didn’t think it could ever become, and rekindled my desire to create comics.
Thank you to all the followers (all 6k+ of you!!! WOW!!), commissioners, patrons, and wonderful friends who encouraged me while I was sick to try to keep going and have stuck with this blog through thick and thin.
I may not say it that often, or communicate that much with the people who follow this blog, but I promise that I see you and truly appreciate the support this place gets.
See you guys Friday with the special update! :D
This was supposed to be an illustration for Halloween, but I thought it would work on it’s own. I hope you are all having a good day!
Please take this as a sign that some things are coming from this blog once again in the near future.
“When the queen asks you where her steward is, you tell her… And you definitely don’t say the word ‘ass’ in her presence either.”
(Here’s the song she’s singing.

Filly Queen Chrysalis is now 2 years old!! Wow!!
Technically, it turned 2 on the 23rd, but the first comic wasn’t posted until April 30th! Thank you so much to everyone for helping the comic stay alive, and continuing to inspire me to draw and write! With almost 4k followers, it’s hard not to want to do my best for you all, and keep experimenting with how I present the story of Chrysalis growing up. Granted, I thought for sure the story would be done by now, but, eh, life happens. Maybe we’ll be done by next year!
(If you want a transparent version of Hallelujah Chryssy, wander on over to the mod blog and look for the post!)

Happy Thanksgiving! I thought I would do something different today! Enjoy!
