Hey, this post may contain adult content, so we’ve hidden it from public view.
Filly Queen Chrysalis is now 2 years old!! Wow!!
Technically, it turned 2 on the 23rd, but the first comic wasn’t posted until April 30th! Thank you so much to everyone for helping the comic stay alive, and continuing to inspire me to draw and write! With almost 4k followers, it’s hard not to want to do my best for you all, and keep experimenting with how I present the story of Chrysalis growing up. Granted, I thought for sure the story would be done by now, but, eh, life happens. Maybe we’ll be done by next year!
(If you want a transparent version of Hallelujah Chryssy, wander on over to the mod blog and look for the post!)

“Hmmmm… Now, I think this part goes there… No, wait, the schematics’ upside down. Wow, this this is wayyyy harder then color by numbers!”
“O-KAY! I think that’s enough candy for you!”
“Noooooooo-!!”
(Run for the hills, she’s figured it out!!!
I’m an hour late, but who cares! Happy Halloween, y'all! I hope you all had a fun and safe year!)
“…No wait, I don’t think that’s quite scary enough… Hmmm…”
(Sorry for the long wait between updates guys! School’s pounding me into the ground, and combined with wedding planning, I’m sure you understand. Have a nice cute comic to tide you over until we can get back to the story!)
“A-bloo-bloo-bloo~!”
(Non-linear update since I feel bad for taking so long with the Changeling story. I’m working on it though! Swearsies!)
A special message from the smallest of queens.
So, I thought of this while I was in the shower, and I was really determined to get it done today. For some reason, I was really impressed with how things can be really tough sometimes, and that everyone needs a boost up sometimes. Another thing that has really been on my mind is how important it is for people to come together, and support each other.
It doesn’t even have to be for a common purpose, so long as people are seeing each other, and being with each other, we never know how we can touch each other. It might be a sentence we over-hear or a smile from a stranger because you made eye contact, but I think it’s really important for people, especially if you’re down and out, to just BE with each other.
We need to be able to support each other, and love each other as human beings, no matter our beliefs, opinions, or anything else in the world. What matters is that we care for one another because no matter how you slice it, we’re all from the same place, even if we don’t agree on where that place is. We need to remember our humanity even in the face of horrible and terrible things. We need to remember to love one another, and treat each other with kindness whenever we can squeeze it in. You may never know who you might be helping with that small nod of acknowledgement, or because you returned that little smile.
What we need is more togetherness as just people, and less dividing ourselves over things that won’t mean a thing when we all turn to dust. What will matter is how we treated each other so that those that are left behind can build something better and know that we tried our best to catch each other when we started to fall.
And I’m done rambling. Enjoy the cute, colorful horse that’s trying to make your day seem brighter!
(Reblogging so you can see the thought process behind this. I’ve had a very philosophical day for some reason!)
